At times, I tend to get ahead of myself & this is one of those times.  A while back, I published an article commenting on the subtle advantage of a home-based business without first addressing the entire concept of home-based businesses.  After reading this, you may wish to visit that article published in this same venue.

The concept of a home-based business should first be accepted as a truly viable business model.. Within some professional circle, it is not.  I must admit, I lived in one of those “Corporate America” circles for a long, long time.

But I do recall, that the concept of Network Marketing truly piqued my interest when Donald Trump admitted that, if had it to do all over again, he would venture into network Marketing.  I think that was after his second bankruptcy.

To go one better, Robert Kiyosaki dedicated an entire book to this subject.  His anthem was that it was an outstanding means to achieve wealth.  He attracted a number of followers in trumpeting this message & profited quite handsomely.

With this as a scant backdrop, I must admit that Network Marketing attracted my attention & lured me deeper & deeper into the concept to the point where I became obsessed with it & had to move forward with all my energies.

As a few starting points, I saw a number of advantages:

• The barriers to entry were very low with the desire to succeed far outweighing other factors.
• The professional background can vary which is, by itself, a very accommodating attribute in today’s society.
• Start-up costs, a significant component of most barriers to entry, were minimal & could be managed quite easily without being a cause to lose sleep.
• The business offers great freedom of time which can readily adapt to personal desires or circumstances.  I must admit that I had open-heart surgery during the early months of my business start-up.  (Please accept that this was not caused by this business venture, but probably my lifetime in Corporate America.)  In any event, I maintained continuity without severe disruption.
• Personal earnings generally follow proportional to the effort invested.
• Not only could I earn more in this profession, but I stumbled upon a few items in the tax code which became available.

But this is just what I found as attractions &, most likely, does not represent the majority of society.  It just works for me.

If you have some inkling, or even mild attraction to the advantages of Network Marketing, I wholeheartedly encourage your continued investigation.  Explore the breadth of options.  Identify values & principals of the supplier & align them with your personal code.  Conduct your due diligence.  Be thorough.

While Network Marketing, or a Home-Based Business, may not appeal to everyone & everyone may not be successful.  Those are the facts.  Nonetheless, I advocate detailed investigation as it has the potential of presenting opportunities, including great wealth-building, that may not otherwise be available to you and your family.

This thing has rejuvenated my spirits in that I can now play in the same sandbox as the big kids.  It almost makes me want to salivate!

I just have to share it with other struggling marketers as a tool.  I would not anoint it as a panacea & the end-all solution, nor do I claim to be anything more than a messenger.

It is a free keyword research tool that Brad Callen just released. It’s Free & it provides value. I like that combination.  As is typical, the money is made in other products once you are satisfied with this initial one

In the application, you can browse a Google Keyword for a different purpose & drill into the sponsored ad being offered/ bid by that advertiser to reveal related keywords, the average price, the position & the max price bid, all in real time.  The Site can be identified & all the  keywords being supported by that site are also available.

So, now, I can look at your ad, identify your keywords on that URL & the average price you pay as well as all the different ads & key words related to that URL.

With that, I have a pretty good feel for my direction.  I now know what eveeryone is doing. Guessing is no longer required to risk money & to consume time.

You can take advantage of this, too.

Like I suggested, the playing field is now level & you can expose the golden keywords that has taken others months & months & months to develop.

In my playing around, I found that info is weak with “new sites,” less than 15-30 days.  But, since most sites are on an annual contract w/ GoDaddy, data can be representative.

While my concentration has been on the positive aspects of my own business success, it has simultaneously been a conscious effort to screen out the negative.

This is paramount in today’s economy where we are flooded with ill-fated news on how bad things are & how they are certainly destined to get worse. Granted, this is tainted by sensationalism & drama as newscasters & editorialists clamor for ratings points, but it is in our face daily.

While I am much a realist, I have simply “Turned Off” all the negativity. I look only for facts, never the adjoining commentary to allow my own interpretation. I am selective on my television viewing, my print/ internet reports & even the conversations I have.

But all this is simply a backdrop for commentary on the application of this Mental Perspective on my chosen direction of Network Marketing.

Network Marketing is subject to criticism & negative comments in today’s economy. It does appear “risky.” It does cast an aura of “failure.”

From my viewpoint, it is just the opposite, as independent businesses afford the ability of independent wealth generation & independence from the system which has put the entire economy in its current state.

I believe this is called “Free Enterprise.”

To be successful in the Free Enterprise System, one must be laser-targeted on positive results, feed off successes, oft-times small, & slough the criticism & comment from the static observers. Again, the Law of Attraction states that one has the ability to create reality.

Directly applied towards this business, if you believe yourself to be successful, you must harvest & store the mindset of abundance, acceptances, prosperity & success. You must reject the infiltration of fear or failure.

Granted, this self-discipline will be challenging, but it will lead you to your goal. It will help you vault the hurdles as you focus on solutions, not problems. Many things that you encounter as you go forward are not within your control. What is in your control is how you react to those things.

Success in Network Marketing requires that you stay the course, maintain the mindset & react with solutions.

I am terribly afflicted this year, being cooped up, not only by the cold, snowy, bitter, damp, cloudy, piercing Winter, but because of a couple health issues.  First, I had this heart surgery thing in late Fall & now I’m getting over a total knee replacement.  So, even if there was a break I the weather, I was still cooped!

But today, well, really tomorrow, I’m blowin’ Dodge & headed to South Texas in the Rio Grande Valley.  Current reports are “low 90′s dipping to mid 70′s at night.  I think I can handle that.

Coincidentally, the weather forecast for Milwaukee is 6 – 9″ of snow beginning mid-day tomorrow.

Despite my knee, I even have golf planned.  I don’t care if I have to use a 7-iron, I’m there!

While he criticized the deficit he “inherited,” he continued to hold fast to every attempt to reduce the budget.

My recollection is that he has already approved  a $1 trillion stimulus package along with a similar amount for the banking industry bailout.  Most likely, the health care package, already acknowledged as the most threatening will exceed those two items.   I didn’t bother to include a couple packages which start with a “b” & not a “t.”

During the recent election campaign, I frequently explained my party preferences, not by the candidate but by the underlying party philosophy of demand side economics versus supply side economics.

The Democratic Party trends to stimulate the economy through the injection of funds on the demand side;  the opposite is true for the Republicans.

The bottom line on demand side economics is that government spending is the driving factor.  The government essentially prints more money.  You & I both know the source of funds to pay for that spending.

So, I listen to President Obama offering words of a controlled budget with reductions & compare those words to recent actions.  I just have a hard time doing the math.

Then, he hits Jay Leno to address St. Patrick’s Day shot glasses.

Whether this party or that, this is great !!!

(BTW, John McCain also picked UNC.)

Well, I’m here to tell ya that that’s just not the case.

Several days ago, I had a knee replaced. Painful ordeal, but I’ll be the better for it.

One of my big concerns was my stay. No one would give me a good estimate. That really hacked me off. They kept talking about rehab facilities beyond an extended hospital stay. I didn’t want any of that.

As some background, I live alone. I had been clearly told by the medical staff that this is an unworkable situation as I would not be able to navigate my home, much less scale the 16 steps to my second floor living area. Without in-home assistance, including physical therapy, I would not be able to exist. Furthermore, I would not be able to get to my Medical appointments or physical therapy as I woud not be able to drive for 2-3 weeks.

In initial attempts to refute that, I just gave up with the argument. I told them anything to satisfy them. I even told them I would lie if I had to, but I was going home. But I got my story straight, & it became consistent, solid as a rock.

Not that the Medical Team just rolled over, they knew I was fibbing. The attack continued. The nurse would ask subtle questions, or the nurse’s aide would pry into my personal life while escorting me down the hallway during exercises.

But I knew what they were all up to. They were trying to find the one flaw. Everyone knew the discharge papers, clearly stating no-driving for two weeks, was not going to keep me down.

Bottom line, I got my Ex- to cover for me & pick me up at the Hospital. In, out, done deal. She dropped me at my house. The next day, I dove to my physical therapy. We’re all happy. I won!!!

Ya, really! Almost Front Page News, even for March in Wisconsin!

To the north, 10-12 miles, in downtown Milwaukee, only flurries were registered. To the west 10-12 miles, a sunny day. One cracker-jack news team even found one road having 8″ on one side & nothing on the other.

We refer to this phenomenon as “lake effect” snow where the moisture-laden air, just dumps on one spot, in this instance, at the airport.

If this truly were “God’s Country,” then I gotta ask “What’s the thinkin’?”
